Formerly the “TL SimplyGo app”, the SimplyGo app integrates the key card-related features from the EZ-Link app and aims to provide commuters with a seamless experience for their transit ticketing needs and card-related services.
 
Some key features of the SimplyGo app include:
- View travel transaction history and expenditure of yourself and your loved ones, up to the last 180 days
- Receive alerts on low card balance* [NEW]
- Receive push notifications on your trip fares^
- Top up on-the-go for cards* added to your account
- Block lost travel card* and transfer value to new card [NEW]
- Submit and view transit claims status
- Apply/replace Concession card & purchase concession pass for SimplyGo Concession cards
- View Non-Transit Area (NTA) transactions* [NEW]

App Android notifications do not work. When tapping the card on bus or train it does not show ride fare or balance. So very easy to run out of credit without warning. I ran out of credit, topped up using the app, but card would no longer work. I was kicked off the bus and had to walk miles to MRT Station to get card reset. I will stop using SimplyGo and just go back to a vanilla EZLink card.

It a really fked up system. When your value is less than $3 and did not top up on time, you can't use it on bus. Even when you top up on the spot, with the value you can only use it on mrt. If you want to use it on bus, you have to wait for 2-3 days for the system to reset before you can use the card on bus. What kind of fked up system is this ?? Plus who will constantly check on the value on the app when we are so used to seeing how much value we had left on the tap on machines.

SHOULD BE ZERO STARS REVIEW. 1. No notification if card less than $X which we should be able to set in app. 2. Unable to add multiple favourite bus stop to track bus arrival timings. 3. Error to login app when you need to check balance before using card. 4. Unable to add past trips to favourites to track bus/train arrival times. 5. Topping up card is not immediate so top up at machine still the best option. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY. ALL THESE ARE BASIC FEATURES AN APP SHOULD HAVE.
