The costumes and set designs made me feel as if I was watching a documentary. The writers do an excellent job at interjected real events from history, into each episode. The only reason I am giving a 4 out of 5 is that I found some of storytelling extremely predictable.

I bought the first season a few years ago and somehow I'm not allowed to watch it? What the hell. Give me my money back then!

Downton Abbey is a classic drama that is worth while studying in the literature syllabus. As a teacher, I consider the drama splendid, educational, informative. The cast is superb!!! Every word, every scene is watched several times in order to be remembered. Extraordinary language. What a magnificent example how to teach mannerism for children. Thank you to all for the enormous job that will pay off for many years to enjoy the series of Downton Abbey.
