While Hank leads the search for Clark, Prior asks Danvers about the murder-suicide case that drove a wedge between her and Navarro. Later, tensions grow between Danvers and her stepdaughter Leah.

Later, Hank receives a quid pro quo offer.

Awesome awesomeness i watched the first episode and didn't stop till the whole of season one was watched. Im always been into detective n thriller books movies etc. I have had to watch it again and again as i wish i have been a detective catching the monster's that ruin n hurt women and children and also serial killers etc. This show is based on true events and detective rustin chole is a real Detective n Matthew mcconnaughey is one of the most clever actors who has i inspired me to watch how he can chage who his character is and he does it so dam good. Matthew also chooses stories or characters and roles that are a huge challenge. Absolutely awesome for me.

I'd go as far as to say this is the best first season of any series I've ever seen. Just riveting and dark and ever so complex. Some brilliant lines from Rust if you like "philosophically complex" in your men. Not sure how they'll manage a second season - an impossible act to follow.

One of the new wave of TV series along with Fargo, Rectify, GOT and House of Cards to showcase brilliant storytelling with superb casting and a festering plotline shot beautifully. Matthew McConaughey is a revelation, for me at least the first time I have seen what a great performance he can turn. Woody Harrelson is a long way from Cheers here and again superbly cast. This is a must see show that is all the more powerful for it's slow burn. Five stars from beginning to end.
