About this show

Meet Sarah, seven years old, with big eyes and a green hat who lives with her quacky, flappy best friend, Duck. Sarah and Duck live in a small village, in a small house, with a small, wonky garden path and a red front door. These charming animated pre-school adventures follow them as they explore their world both near and far in their own wobbly and imaginative way.

This is a wonderfully imaginative animation. It's simple yet it has a depth that is lacking in much of today's contemporary childrens programming. Each 7 minute long episode plays out with gentle coaxing from narration by Roger Allam. The dialogue, which at times is quite matter of fact gives rise to some genuinely funny interactions between Sarah, Duck and the narrator. It is reminiscent of Oliver Postgate productions and a truly welcome break from shoddy computer generated rubbish.

Great little show. I tend to stream via iPlayer on xbox or sky. My little boy is totally mesmerised by this show and the theme tune is awesome... Sarah and duck, quack, sarah and duck, quack. ..... However this seems far too expensive for a short episode. Given the fact that iPlayer is free the whole season should reflect this and be no more than £5
