About this show

Reinventing the DC Comics character, the Arrow is not a superhero … but a hero – every bit as dangerous as the criminals he's hunting. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen returns home with a mysterious agenda and lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime in this action series.

After Netflix's Daredevil, this is my favorite superhero TV show to date. It definitely has its ups and downs and there is a healthy dose of "soap opera drama" in it but if you can accept that I think you'll really enjoy it. Stephen Amell is a great Oliver Queen and it's awesome watching him grow from being a rogue killing machine to the Green Arrow. All superhero fans should at least give the first 2 seasons a watch.

Most of the shows for DC are good but I find that arrow has such bad arks in it. Good guys who dick moves to there "friends" that they dont really want to be pissing off. God like bad guys that could only be killed to really solve the problem. I cant even remember if the bad guy for this season even has a face yet. The first reason I stopped watching arrow was because of the relationship between Oliver and felicity was teased for years and when they finally got together Felicity just ended it out of no where. It didn't make any sense to her character at all, it just added drama for the show. Yes action happens but it doesnt really have good story behind any of it. I would suggest any of the other DC shows but not Arrow as the story telling is really just lacking in this show.

The first season of Arrow started a bit weak, but towards the end and especially starting with season 2 it has picked up steam and has been getting better since. Stories are interesting, the action is good, but to me it's really the cast that makes it. They're all pretty awesome and infuse the characters with a lot of personality and fun.
