About this show

BITTEN is an action-packed, erotically charged, and serialized one-hour series set in a familiar world...where werewolves happen to live amongst us. Survival of the werewolf population depends upon their remaining clandestine and their society is monitored by The Pack; the organized werewolf family to which 25-year-old Elena Michaels (Laura Vandervoort) used to belong. After a year away from The Pack, Elena hesitantly returns to the fold when the body of a young woman is discovered in the woods outside the small town of Bear Valley, New York (the adopted home of The Pack). Could this attack be an isolated incident or is it the opening salvo of an all-out war against the Mutts -- rogue werewolves whose aim is to destroy The Pack? Torn between the new life she's created in Toronto and old loyalty to her Pack family, Elena will be forced to fight her own battle between the woman and the wolf within.

I've never read the books this series is supposed to be based off of, but after watching all currently released seasons, I know I'd love them too! Bitten sparked my interest from the first episode of season 1 with that "Underdog-against-all-odds" feeling, which so many of us can identify with. If you're on the fence about whether or not to try it, I highly recommend watching the first 3 - 5 episodes; The character development {imho} is very well done for all the major characters & when some of the minor characters were removed from the show early on, I felt that sense of loss where shortly after you think to yourself, "Whoa, I had no idea I was so involved in this show already!". I would rate this 6 stars if I could!

Still one of myball time fav series!! I'm pissed that they didnt at least do one season with Elena as pack leader. It has a huge following too so not sure what's up w that either. Colony and a few other amazing shows got canned even w a huge fan base too. I guess the companies are ushering them out before they think it will happen. I hope Netflix starts picking up more shows like they have w Designated Survivor. Bitten would've been another great one for them to choose. This show is awesome!!

Ok, I've read Bitten & loved the book as well as the authors other books linked with this book! The only problem I have with the tv series is that certain char's met early deaths or were killed off but have not been killed off in any of the books that followed BItten. Best example is Nick's father being killed. In the books he's still very much alive and whipping Mutt's butts along with the rest of thepack.Another discrepancy is Elena's human bf being killed by Jeremy's father; still all in all a great show
