This series is just as good as the original Paul Dini Batman and the more recent Jeff Matsuda Batman shows. A well done complex story that makes the audience keep guessing, several twists I didn't see coming, and a general feel of goodwill and hope that is absent from many DC shows. Even despite focusing on B-list supervillains and unknowns it still manages to make you wonder what will happen next.

I've watched the first two episodes and although I'm not a big fan of cg animation in lieu of traditional cell animation for the batman series I really like the spin on batman. I also like that Alfred is more of a "bloke" than a gentleman's gentleman. Better than I expected. No its not Kevin Conroy, but hey he can't do the voice forever. So far I like the "lesser villians" too.

For me, one of the main reasons I love this show is the same reason that many dislike it - obscure villains. This really keeps it fresh. If that weren't enough to keep me interested, we've got a toughened up Alfred, and we take a break from Robin with Katana in the sidekick role. Whether I'm watching on my TV or my phone, the show has a unique look that I find beautiful. It's just a shame that the show only got one season. Most agree that B:TAS is the best, but this is a fun alternative :)
