About this show

The story starts with when a famous Danish gender activist and owner of Copenhagen's first gender-neutral children's nursery is found murdered on a building site in Malmö. Saga is forced to work with a new Danish colleague, who has difficulties in accepting Saga for who she is. They quickly come to the conclusion that the murderer has been very particular about the aesthetics and wanted them to find the body. This marks the beginning of a line of spectacular murders that eventually become personal for Saga and her career looks to be at risk and the questions is raised, can she actually continue working on this case?

The series (series 3) is excellent. After two series with the same two lead characters I wasn't expecting to like this series as much, but it is gripping. Google is the reason it only gets one star. Although the series finished its airing on BBC Four on 19th December, Google is still withholding the final episode (episode 10) for some reason. Its like buying a tense thriller only to find the final chapter has been ripped out.

The main character has aspergers, and to see the story bob and weave, and the action unfold is brilliant, with the little influences of autism always visible in her mannerisms. I actually felt bereft when I came to the end, wanting to know how she worked through what was happening.

I came across this series by accident one day while browsing my TV listings for anything good to watch. Well, simply must the very best accident I've ever had.The quality of drama/comedy mixed is pure genius, especially the way Sofia carries herself in this role, its flawless. !! Its almost a crime making us wait a week for the next episode, but I pulled through !! For the second series I did not make the same mistake,Once it was announced when series 2 was airing,I just set my box to record all episodes. Then after watched them all over 2 days,it was just as good as the first. I now have all series 3 recorded now but as yet not watched yet. If your unfortunate enough not to have seen this amazing cop drama, where all 12 episodes are the same story as it progresses, you would be foolish not to see this,on of my all time favourites.
