About this app

✓ Join over one a quarter of a million users in achieving your goals with Habit Streak

✓ Habit Streak helps you achieve your goals (or New Year's Resolutions) in exercise, diet or other areas of your life. Each day you report on whether you succeeded yesterday, building up streaks of habits and ingraining the activities into your life. It is perfect for the start of the new year.

"After a few days you'll have a chain. Just keep at it and the chain will grow longer every day. You'll like seeing that chain, especially when you get a few weeks under your belt. Your only job next is to not break the chain" (Jerry Seinfeld)

Habit Streak has two key advances on Jerry Seinfeld's original technique. Firstly it allows you to build several chains up at once. Secondly it (optionally) prompts you every day to report on your success (whereas one could easily forget to update or look at a physical calendar).

✓ Habit Streak is simple, clear, easy to use and free; there are no time limits (there is a Pro version with some additional features for power users).

Works as simply as I wanted it to. I didn't want anything over the top - I get tired of so many flashy bell and whistle apps - and this one is a good one. Gets the job done without taking up a bunch of storage. I've changed phones twice while using this app and haven't lost any of my history! Thank you, developer, for allowing that even in the free version!

The reminder alarm doesn't work anymore. I would also like to be able to change the time to check it off depending on the habit. For example, if I'm trying to remember to do something in the morning, I want to be able to check it off later that same day, not the next day.

almost useful but you can't put in things for past dates. not remembering to use the app shouldn't break a steak.

What's new

Notifications simplified: previously trying to be too clever (and not activating self when you had already updated for the day, but this was potentially confusing) + bugfixes/updates for newer versions of Android. Some other behind the scenes tweaks/improvements.
