Used to be absolutely brilliant, but the new changes make it pretty much useless. The stops cluster into groups which makes the map almost impossible to see or navigate. I don't think you can see the route lines on the map any more, so there's no way to work out connections. You can still use it to check the times for a stop nearby, but that's all it is good for now.

The individual stops appear when you zoom in to the map. Clustering happens to make the map look tidier when zoomed out, but also for performance reasons too. Route lines are still a feature - tap the filter icon above the map and route lines will appear for the services you've chosen to filter for. Please contact me if you require assistance.

Fine but the new version definitely needs work. The map scrolling and loading are noticeably slower (idk if you can fix this). Having to go back a screen from the map then search for a bustop and then go back to the map is definitely not the best. Adding back the feature to search for a stop while on the map screen would fix that. The UI is also... not the prettiest. Don't need customizable design but pink salmon isn't the best colour. Still good app but the new update has not made it better

Reliable app that I have used for many years. Very good for providing bus arrival times - one of it's two main purposes for me. The other was it providing very good info regarding where there were traffic issues or upcoming roadworks etc. Mostly, that came from input into twitter then into the app. However, for last few days, that twitter input, along with any other input, has disappeared. Unlikely that it is this app's fault but that second half of it's purpose has gone for me.

What's new

After many years of silence, My Bus Edinburgh is back.

Re-written from scratch, the app has been completely overhauled, with a brand new Material3 design, including support for dark mode.

Any comments? Get in touch or leave a review.

I hope you enjoy the new update.
